We have a client that has a few condensers that are very old and in really bad shape. This particular condenser is a Recold JW-180 Evaporative Condenser. From the pictures you can see corrosion throughout the mid and upper panels. Not pictured are the blower and header side panels, both of which did not need to be replaced. So rather than the client spending $50,000-$75,000 on a new condenser, they chose to replace a few panels that cost less than 10% of a new condenser replacement. All panels and hardware are OEM.

This particular condenser is a Recold JW-50C Fluid Condenser that is about 20 years old. From the pictures you can see corrosion on both upper side panels, eliminator access doors, blower end panel, end panel connection and upper end panel connection. A patch was placed on the end panel connection. Other than that patch, almost every other panel on this machine was replaced. Replacing these panels cost significantly less than replacing the tower. Not to mention that a job like this usually can be completed in one day. All panels and hardware are OEM.
